Executive Assistant & Operations Coordinator
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Executive Assistant will serve the President of GCC, supporting in all aspects of administration and systems management. As the Operations Coordinator, they will work alongside the GCC Team to ensure that the Collective is served with efficiency and excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Assistant to the President = 12-16 Hours +/-
- Day to Day Management:
- Develop and maintain full executive support for the Office of the President (calendar, files etc.).
- Manage and integrate calendar with potential time boxing techniques to maximize all objectives.
- 1:1 meeting 2-3x per month.
- Develop documentation tools for weekly 1-1 meetings to streamline reporting and accountability.
- Organize google drive, files and directives.
- Coordinate calls, meetings and events for pastoral calls, fundraising and GCC Development.
- Proactively examine travel and meeting calendar to anticipate opportunities for recruitment, donor development, strategic meetings, gifts to be given, and ways to double-loop travel.
- Complete all expense reports and reconciliations.
- Arrange travel for speaking engagements and events.
- Organize and coordinate presidential intellectual property to serve the Collective.
Operations Coordination = 8-12 +/-
- Assess current practices, identify pain points, and implement solutions such as streamlining communication, automating tasks, and standardizing procedures.
- Analyze data and provide summaries such as survey reports, pipeline status, etc..
- Effectively coordinate projects for the team.
- Assist with financial processes.
- Coordinate quarterly team meetings and travel.
- Capture and distribute detailed team meeting notes.
Team Support = 4-12 Hours +/-
- Support event planning and execution.
- Manage and monitor fundraising workflows including donor engagement, event scheduling, follow up, communications, mailings and support.
- Support all GCC ministries where needed.
- Interact with GCC churches to provide resources and support, responding with appropriate urgency.
- Support and assist administratively in fundraising initiatives and programs.
- Miscellaneous (mailings, organization, member support, etc).

- Have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a passionate, growing personal relationship with Him.
- Have a reputation for moral purity and humility.
- Humble, hungry and smart.
- Be a self-starter with drive, passion and initiative .
- Be teachable, open minded and willing to be held accountable.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Be a ministry partner willing to have discussions in a respectable way while also following relationships of authority, responsibility and leadership.
Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, prefer ministry specific.
- Must enthusiastically embrace the doctrine, mission and organizational philosophy of the Great Commission Collective.
- Must enthusiastically embrace and work within the organizational culture and staff expectations which unite the Great Commission Collective team.
- Must possess and demonstrate strong and effective communication skills.
- Must possess the ability to anticipate the needs of the team and be an independent problem solver.
- Must be able to serve network churches effectively and with care.
- Ability to travel domestically to 4-6 events per year, including overnights and weekends.
