Local Church Leadership
SUMMARY:
As leaders go, so goes the church. This module will cover local church roles, leadership development, leading self, and building a healthy plurality.
OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this module, the church planter will be able to:
- Comprehend your role as an elder and know how to identify other elders.
- Understand the role of shepherding in a pastor-planter’s life.
- Recognize the importance of plurality, yet also see the lead pastor’s strategic role in sustaining a flourishing eldership.
- Cultivate an awareness of how to know and love the community you are reaching.
- Learn to anticipate the experience of weakness as a leader.
- Be familiar with and conversant in the reading assignments
