Basic Church Finances for New Leaders & Church Planters

This cohort is a practical, hands on training for local church leaders to build a basic, yet scalable financial system for the church to operate above reproach. Each participant will gain:

  1. a basic understanding of church finance, bookkeeping, accounting, and budgeting;
  2. a proper chart of accounts in which to set up their books;
  3. templates for financial reports required for their church;
  4. a budget template;
  5. and how their finances link to their mission and vision.

The 4 month long cohort will consist of 4 monthly group video calls two hours long plus two 1:1 hour-long calls with the cohort leader. The calls would occur on the 3rd Wednesday of the month starting on January 17th from 11am to 1pm ET. All calls will be recorded for those missing a session. The cohort is limited to 12 participants. The cohort fee is $250 for leaders from GCC member churches and $500 for non GCC-member church leaders. Registration deadline is January 5, 2024 or when the cohort is full.
